Meet Lee Smith

Lee Smith

President/CEO

Born and raised in Powell, TN, 11-year NFL veteran Lee Smith opened Triple F to serve youth athletes in the greater-Knoxville area. As a gritty, old-school blocking tight end, Lee played in 149 games with 79 starts, recording 73 receptions, 523 yards receiving and 11 touchdowns. After being drafted in the 5th round in 2011 by the New England Patriots, Lee was picked up by the Buffalo Bills where he played for 3 years before signing a 3-year contract with the Oakland Raiders. He then returned back to Buffalo from 2019-2021, finishing his career as an Atlanta Falcon 2021-2022.

He attributes much of his success as a player to the NFL’s world class plan, resources, and support staff he had around him to keep him healthy and performing at the highest level in spite of several injuries and physical trauma typical of his position and style of play. But overall he credits all of his achievements and experiences to his faith and relationship with Jesus Christ.

Now Lee is bringing this same professional level care and long-term athletic development centered on faith in Jesus to athletes here at his 12,000sq ft. facility in Knoxville, TN off of Oak Ridge highway.

That vision has now become a reality with the opening of Triple F, a long-term athletic development facility focused on athletes ages 11-18. But Lee and his staff have several offerings for anyone looking to Train Like a Pro at the 12,000sq ft. state of the art facility including sport skill development for athletes 5-18 as well as college and pro, adult memberships, physical therapy, training camps, combine training, and many others!

Lee, his wife Alisha and their children Brody (15), Amanda (13), Brock (11), and Addison (10) live in West Knox and attend Shoreline church.
